Likely Finest PCGS-CAC Proof-67 Cameo 1862 1c
One of the two earliest 1862 Indian Cents certified as PR67CAM by PCGS, and an easy grade, as the fields are deeply mirrored and set in strong contrast against the richly frosted devices. Although 1862 can be considered to be the type date among Proof Cupro-Nickel Indian Cents, there are only five coins certified as PR67CAM by PCGS, and three included in the CAC census. Additionally, this appears to be the only PCGS/CAC PR67CAM certified, as the CAC Population Report includes both an NGC/CAC PR67CAM #3211075-001, and a CACG PR67CAM that was likely the prior NGC/CAC PR67CAM #3602758-001.
